Which iPhone do I need?
UnQuest requires iPhone 15 Pro or newer (A17 Pro chip) for on-device AI inference. Older iPhones don't have enough RAM or GPU power to run language models locally.
How much storage do models need?
Models range from 0.5 GB (small, fast) to 5.3 GB (large, smarter). We recommend starting with Qwen 3.5 4B (~2.8 GB), which balances quality and speed.
Does the app need internet?
Only to download AI models. Once downloaded, everything works completely offline. Your conversations, documents, and memories never touch the internet.
The app was killed while generating a response
This can happen if your device is under memory pressure (many apps open). Close other apps and try again. If it persists, try downloading a smaller model from Settings.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting the app removes all data permanently — conversations, documents, memories, and downloaded models. There is no cloud backup. You can also delete individual conversations, memories, or documents from within the app.
