1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using UnQuest (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

UnQuest is a privacy-first AI workspace that runs large language models entirely on your device. The App processes documents, manages knowledge, and provides AI-powered analysis without transmitting your content to external servers.

3. On-Device Processing

All AI inference, document processing, and data storage occurs locally on your device. UnQuest does not operate cloud servers for content processing. As a result, we are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated outputs. You should verify all AI outputs before relying on them for legal, financial, medical, or other professional decisions.

4. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you process through UnQuest, including documents, conversations, and knowledge graph data. We do not access, collect, or claim any rights to your content. Your content is stored encrypted on your device and is solely under your control.

5. AI Model Usage

UnQuest uses open-source AI models (such as Qwen, Llama, and others) that are distributed under their respective licenses. These models run locally on your device. By using UnQuest, you agree to comply with the applicable model licenses. We do not modify or fine-tune models with your data.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use UnQuest to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory
• Process content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others without authorization
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App beyond what is permitted by applicable law
• Redistribute the App or its components outside of the App Store

7. Purchases and Refunds

UnQuest is available as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store. In-app purchases for workflow packs are also available. All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies. We do not process payments directly.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

UnQuest is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that AI outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. On-device AI models have inherent limitations in reasoning, knowledge, and accuracy compared to larger cloud-based models.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UnQuest and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to damages arising from reliance on AI-generated outputs for professional decisions.

10. Data Loss

Because all data is stored locally on your device, UnQuest is not responsible for data loss due to device failure, accidental deletion, or iOS updates. We recommend maintaining separate backups of important documents.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the App or on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the App will be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution procedures outlined by the applicable jurisdiction.
